On the afternoon of Sunday, July 21, 2024, the Canadian Iranian Foundation held its annual scholarship award ceremony at a community center in West Vancouver. The event was dedicated to celebrating the academic achievements of selected students within the community.

The ceremony began with a performance of the Canadian national anthem, followed by the song "O Iran," both delivered by Anita Shahriari, a young and talented artist residing in Vancouver. Her heartfelt renditions set a respectful and patriotic tone for the afternoon.

Nassreen Filsoof, president of the Canadian Iranian Foundation, then took the stage to welcome attendees. In her brief but meaningful speech, she outlined the foundation’s commitment to fostering education and community support.
