In a recent conversation, Morrison shared that his motivation to serve comes from a genuine love for Port Moody and a desire to see it flourish, not just today, but for generations to come. “I’ve always believed that when people work together and listen to one another, we get the best outcomes,” he said.
Known for his approachable style and collaborative spirit, Morrison emphasizes the importance of building bridges—between council and residents, across generations, and within community organizations. Whether it’s housing, sustainability, or civic engagement, he sees the best solutions arising through open dialogue and shared goals.
“My role as councillor isn’t just about making decisions—it’s about making space for the community to be heard,” he said. He’s especially passionate about engaging young people and encouraging them to see themselves as part of the city’s future.
Morrison’s vision for Port Moody is one of balance, growing with intention, protecting green spaces, supporting local businesses, and fostering an inclusive environment where all residents feel welcome and valued.
Through his business, Callan actively supports many local charities and sporting associations such as Looking Glass Foundation, Pink Shirt Day, Access Youth Outreach Services, Crossroads Hospice Society, Share Family Services, Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, and Port Moody Lacrosse Association.
As someone who leads with integrity, humility, and heart, Callan Morrison stands out not just as a city councillor, but as a true community champion.
