Naghmeh Keshavarz, one of the volunteer hosts and organizers of the event, provided further details. Representing the organization and its mission, she emphasized the belief that no child anywhere in the world should be deprived of education due to financial hardship. She also highlighted that even in Canada, some children face barriers to accessing education.
Save a Child is a global charity dedicated to improving the lives of children by addressing issues such as poverty, education, and health. The organization operates with the core mission of ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to basic necessities and opportunities for a brighter future. Through a variety of programs and community initiatives, Save a Child works to bridge the gap for underprivileged children, advocating for their rights and well-being.
The symbolic walk in West Vancouver was part of the organization’s broader efforts to engage local communities in their mission. Despite the rainy weather on Sunday, the event was successfully held, reflecting the dedication and compassion of the participants. The funds raised will directly support educational programs and resources for children, both locally and internationally, ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial challenges.
