Rassemblée en début d'après-midi, la communauté Abitibiwinni de Pikogan a lancé un véritable cri du coeur pour mettre fin au racisme.

Dans un rassemblement émouvant en soutien à la famille de Joyce Echaquan décédée à l’hôpital de Joliette dans des circonstances tragiques, la cheffe de la communauté a invité la société à se questionner et penser à ce qui peut être fait. Elle a également dénoncé l'inaction du gouvernement, qui selon elle, a le sang des victimes sur les mains.
