HON COVID Update March 25 Numbers
On the March 25th COVID-19 update:
The numbers worldwide we have 461,792 confirmed cases, 20,774 deaths, 12,691 serious cases, 108,288 total recovered people. The daily update show is moving the show to 4 pm to take into consideration the daily health minister updates.
Interior health has put a press release talking about how they will not be telling the public specifics on where current cases of COVID-19 are, to suppress panic in areas. The best practice is to assume that COVID19 is everywhere.

An update from Safety Mart Foods, “We now have Plexiglas at all of our tils to protect you and the cashiers at this time. Also please only have one family member go shopping at one time, please do not bring re-usable bags, quantities may be limited, and please respect the closed sign at the tills if you see one.” Thank you from the management staff.

In Vancouver, the city can fine businesses $5000/business and $1000/person who are in non-compliance of the new guidelines.
Info from Clinton -- Clinton health center with be closed March 25-27, the park will be closed until further notice, only 2 members of the public will be allowed to go to the upcoming council meeting. The Chinese food restaurant is closed until notice, and the gym is also closed.
The Lillooet Fire Department asks that people be responsible and safe, there have been several bush fires in the Lillooet area. Since we are being asked to stay home at this time, there has been an increase in burn permit requests. The Fire Department asks that you stay vigilant and only burn if you must, and be responsible if you are burning. The Fire Department becomes more open to infection every time we are asked to go out. Lillooet has also closed the rec center until further notice.
