У складних умовах війни, Україна знаходиться на передовій не лише на військовому, а й на культурному фронті. Музика стала могутнім засобом об’єднання та підтримки, особливо у найважчі часи. А українські музиканти не лише підіймають дух нації, але й допомагають українським захисникам на передовій.

Один з гуртів, який бореться заради перемоги – український музичний рок-гурт СКАЙ. З початку повномасштабного вторгнення, учасники гурту продовжують нести свою музичну війну в ім’я свободи та незалежності. Сьогодні Їх пісні об’єднують тисячі українців за кордоном.

Так, завдяки українсько-американській промоут компанії Moloko стало можливим турне північною Америкою аби українці Канади мали можливість долучитись до благодійності.

“Ми приїхали не розважатись, ми приїхали допомагати перемагати. Разом з Help Heroes of Ukraine ми збираємо донати, які будуть перераховані на потреби армії ”, – говорить фронтмен гурту СКАЙ Олег Собчук.

Тур Олега Собчука та його команди – це маніфест патріотизму та милосердя. Їх голоси лунають зі сцени, запалюючи серця слухачів, а слова закликають до дії і допомоги.

Зараз пісні гурту добре знають не лише в Україні, а й за кордоном. Та Олег не приховує того факту, що на початку їх кар’єри у 2001 році гурт було дуже складно просуватись, адже тоді українські пісні не користувались широкою популярністю.

“Важко було просувати це. Те, що було російськомовним, це стосується і книжок і пісень воно набагато легше розгорталось і було набагато актуальнішим. Я дуже щасливий, що зараз цей час нарешті змінився. Шкода, що такою ціною. А Дай Боже, щоб так було”, – розповідає Олег.

На завершення Олег звертається до українців за кордоном з проханням приходити на благодійні концерти в усіх країнах і разом допомагати перемагати.

“Приходьте на концерти українських виконавців у ваших містах, тут за кордоном. Проводиться дуже велика робота для того, щоб привести українського виконавця. Це дуже кропітка логістика. Це затратні ресурси. Будь-ласка, шукайте можливості, а не причини. Допомагаємо перемагаємо. Слава Україні!”, – наголошує Олег.

In challenging times of war, Ukraine stands at the forefront not only militarily but also culturally. Music has become a powerful tool for unity and support, especially in the toughest times. Ukrainian musicians uplift the nation’s spirits and aid Ukrainian defenders on the frontline.

One of the bands fighting for victory is the Ukrainian rock band SKAY. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the band members continue their musical warfare in the name of freedom and independence. Today, their songs unite thousands of Ukrainians abroad. Thanks to the Ukrainian-American promotional company Moloko, a tour through North America became possible, allowing Ukrainian Canadians to join in the charitable efforts.

“We didn’t come here to entertain; we came here to help win. Together with Help Heroes of Ukraine, we are collecting donations that will be allocated for the needs of the army,” says Oleg Sobchuk, the frontman of SKAY.

Oleg Sobchuk’s tour is a manifesto of patriotism and compassion. Their voices resonate from the stage, igniting the hearts of listeners, while their words call for action and assistance. Currently, the band’s songs are well-known in Ukraine and internationally. However, Oleg doesn’t hide the fact that at the beginning of their career in 2001, promoting the band was very challenging, as Ukrainian songs were not widely popular back then.

“It was difficult to promote it. Russian-language content, including books and songs, was much easier to spread and was more relevant. I am very happy that this has finally changed. It’s a pity it came at such a cost. Hopefully, it will continue this way,” shares Oleg.

In conclusion, Oleg appeals to Ukrainians abroad, urging them to attend charitable concerts in all countries and join forces in helping to achieve victory.

“Come to concerts of Ukrainian performers in your cities, here abroad. A tremendous amount of work is done to bring Ukrainian artists. It involves intricate logistics and costly resources. Please seek opportunities, not excuses. Let’s help and win together. Glory to Ukraine!”
